For each project we assemble a small team to bring in a diversity of perspectives. Our network consists of creatives, researchers and strategists with deep expertise in culture, community and technology.

Our story

co—matter was founded in 2017 by Severin Matusek. Severin spent the last decade leading marketing and brand teams that helped build global creative platforms such as EyeEm and Lomography.

With a background in philosophy and media theory he started co–matter to explore how people and brands can collaborate to create value together.

Our research

We research shifts in culture and technology that shape how people connect and belong. We do so through conversations on our podcast and sharing trends and observations in our reports.

We're based in Berlin with close ties to London, NYC, Copenhagen and Vienna.
